Since when did spandex bike shorts become office appropriate clothing? I can see wearing them into work right after you stash your bike and then changing into something that won't scare your colleagues, but some of you insist on wearing them all day and show up to meetings in your scarily revealing spandex. Yuck! I think that I am going to hang bathrobes on the back of all the meeting room doors so that I don't have to be subjected to the horrific view anymore.

One of our offices in the 'burbs has a hig proportion of larger ladies in it that insist on wearing spandex and other ill fitting fabrics. A few of us were contemplating putting a large sign at the entrance: "Spandex is a right, not a privilege!" :P
Maybe if parents today teach their kids appropriate clothing to wear to school they will learn early the appropriate office attire. Kids that wear very short shorts and tops that leave little or nothing to the imagination are not clothes that should be worn in school. Pants that are worn so low that the colour of the underwear is showing (if any is worn!) or a "plumbers crack" is on display (guys and gals) is not school wear. Spandex is great for the road or track, but yes, offer up those bathrobes or even large towels, J.J. What a great idea!
I just realized I totally screwed up my comment. It should read "spandex is a privilege, not a right!" Doh!
