Olympic fever?
I am sick to death of people whining and bitching about the Olympics. Yeah the roads will be a mess for 3 weeks but come on people, this is going to be the biggest party ever and we get to show off our city to the world. For all of you whiners and protesters in your $500 North Face jackets, I better not see you out and about at any of the free concerts or in the beer gardens…remember? You hate the Olympics, stay at home, you're no fun anyway. I am hoping that the Olympics will make Vancouver a little more relaxed and a lot more fun, here's hoping!

I for one, shall remember this post with glee. It'll only take one minuscule rant from you before you are considered to be on the other side of the fence. My side...the cool side...the intelligent side.
whatever 'your side...cool side...intelligent side...', I am ready to party AND I'll be working from home so whatevs
Ah HA! So you won't have to contend with the traffic or the security checkpoints. Then it's an easy thing to say "bring it on" as you won't be having to deal with it on a daily basis. So I say the same thing. BRING IT ON! (my current assignment is a 20 minute walk from my house in the opposite direction from downtown) so I won't have to deal with it either. However...I'm still an Olympic naysayer.
Besides which...we all know you're a partygurl. The Olympics is just another word for party...same as Gay Pride...Liberal Convention. Bless really. :-)
...and I'm sure your new "do" is going to be a big hit! I'm waiting to see your mug plastered all over the Society Pages! WOOT!
Actually: I will be attending events at UBC Thunderbird Stadium and bussing to downtown 5 nights a week as I will be volunteering.
I like to party, sure, who doesn't? And yes, rockin' my new do, should be good! Hopefully I am on the society pages of the paper and not the most wanted or crime stoppers page.
Or...a good smattering of both. Gotta keep your BadGirl™ image up-to-date as well. I'll even brave the traffic to bust ya out if you need me to. I might have to bring a camera though...just for posterity. LOL!
OMG! I so do...and I so would...and had you not cut your titian locks, I'd be there to hold your hair when you had too much of the sauce. I love ya that much. LOL!
You would do that for me? Wow....we really are buds aren't we? For like ever and ever. As for my new hair, it's very BadGirl™ image, Amelie/French kinda rock and rolla...ya know? I know you get what I'm talking about
normally I hold my liquor like a champ but I suppose there have been a few deviations from that case...Kingsgate Mall will never be the same. I love how we're there for each other *hugz*
Quiches & shit.
There was a time for protesting the Olympics. That time is now over. Either enjoy it or ignore it. Protesting it is just like being a bad party guest. Enjoy the eye rolls and stares a-hole!
As for 'dealing it on a daily basis': God, the snow lasted longer and had more of an impact. Shut up already! Methinks someone is arguing out of spite at this point.
...and methinks that you believe that your opinion is the only correct opinion. Best go back on your meds.
Oh and btw...anonymous posting makes you a coward who doesn't deserve an opinion. Have fun in your parent's basement coward!
Who is serving eye rolls? I've been looking for some of those all month. Chinese New Year always makes them hard to find. I really like the ones with sprinkles!
Isn't Stares-A-Hole a ride at 6-Flags? Personally, I'm a fan of the Tilt-A-Whirl
Bless...the Anonymous poster is calling me God. Seriously...I'm blushing!!! I knew I looked good in these pants!
Galactica (Ooops...I mean Chantal)? Is that you?
Olympics are my favorites but I'm so sorry I could not get at Vancouver to support my country...
Helena H:
Excuse me for not being committed enough to create an account on Blogger.
I bow before your superior command of the Interwebs.
PS. At least my parents are nice enough to lend me their basement.
Have fun under the bridge.
...Where I'll snack on your bones with glee! ;-)
...all kidding aside, do you really think that using the term "a-hole" was warranted when clearly the exchange between Sisi and J.J. was friendly in nature? Just seemed a bit much s'all.
Clarification: I gots nothing against Sisi, who was criticizing, not protesting. I was referring to the metaphorical a-hole actually out 'protesting' the Olympics with a balaclava on his head. I should have really said: a-holes.
This is clearly one of the top 10 if not THE top most posted entry for JJ in the Couv!
Yeah, I think this one has riled people up even more than my anti-union rant during the strike, eeeesh
